This listing is one genuine product key that activates Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus on up to five Windows PCs, bought in a single order. The suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher, InfoPath and SharePoint Workspace, installed locally and licensed permanently after activation. Your delivery email arrives within minutes and points you to the installer and our step-by-step guide, which matters because Microsoft no longer offers Office 2010 downloads itself.
We sell Office 2010 for one job: keeping legacy computers working. Microsoft ended all support on October 13, 2020, so the suite has gone six years without security fixes. It is not a sensible choice for an everyday PC that browses the web and handles outside email. It is the right tool when a Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 machine controls equipment, runs a validated process or hosts an old database, and a newer Office either will not install or would force costly rework.
No. Microsoft’s extended support for Office 2010 ended on October 13, 2020, and no security updates, bug fixes or online help have been issued since. The applications still install, activate and run, and documents you save remain readable by every later version of Office. What you lose is protection against newly discovered vulnerabilities and compatibility with modern online services. Outlook 2010, for example, lacks the modern authentication that Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com mailboxes now require, so it cannot sign in to them.
The practical rule: use Office 2010 on machines that are offline, on an isolated network, or dedicated to one internal task. Keep everyday email and web downloads on a PC with a supported Office version.
Office 2010 was the release that put the ribbon in every app, Outlook included, and introduced the Backstage view behind the File tab. Professional Plus is its most complete edition:
| Windows version | Office 2010 status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows XP SP3 | Designed for it | 32-bit Office only |
| Windows Vista SP1 or later | Designed for it | 32-bit or 64-bit |
| Windows 7 | Designed for it | The most common home for Office 2010 |
| Windows 8.1 and 10 | Runs well | Install 32-bit for legacy add-ins |
| Windows 11 | Generally runs; never supported by Microsoft | Use only when no newer Office is an option |
Hardware is rarely a problem. Microsoft’s minimum was a 500 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM (512 MB recommended for some features), 3 GB of disk space and a 1024 × 576 display, numbers that almost any PC built since 2005 exceeds. If your legacy machine also needs its operating system relicensed, we sell Windows 7 Professional and Windows XP Professional keys for exactly these setups.
| Version | Oldest Windows | Microsoft support | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Office 2010 Pro Plus (this pack) | XP SP3 | Ended Oct 13, 2020 | The PC runs XP or Vista, or needs .adp or InfoPath |
| Office 2013 Pro Plus (1 PC) | Windows 7 | Ended Apr 11, 2023 | One Windows 7 PC needs a slightly newer suite |
| Office 2016 Pro Plus 5 PC | Windows 7 SP1 | Ended Oct 14, 2025 | Five Windows 7 or newer PCs, newer Excel charts |
| Office 2024 Pro Plus 5 PC | Windows 10 | Until Oct 9, 2029 | Connected office PCs that need security updates |
Every PC that can run Windows 10 or 11 is better served by a supported suite, so the Office 2024 Professional Plus 5 PC pack is our recommendation there, keeping in mind that 2024 no longer includes Publisher. If your legacy PCs run Windows 7 but not XP, the Office 2016 Professional Plus 5 PC license gives you a newer but still familiar suite on the same hardware. Our overview of Microsoft Office versions explains how each release differs.
It covers five Windows computers, all activated with the same product key, each with one installation of Office 2010 Professional Plus that stays activated with no expiry date and no subscription. Reinstalling on the same machine after a repair is fine, and our support can guide you through telephone activation for a PC that is never connected to the internet. Keep a simple list of the PCs you activate so you know how many activations remain; the key does not activate a sixth PC, and it does not upgrade to Office 2013, 2016 or later versions; each newer release needs its own license. Commercial use is permitted, which suits workshops, labs and offices.
Choose a newer suite whenever the PC is a normal, internet-connected workstation running Windows 10 or 11. Office 2024 receives security fixes until October 9, 2029, signs in to modern email services and calculates current Excel functions. For one computer, the Office 2024 Professional Plus key is the direct equivalent. Office 2021 is another option, but its support ends on October 13, 2026, so we no longer recommend it for long-term use. Office 2010 belongs on the machines that cannot make that move.
Office 2010 keys are often resold without any after-sales support, so the safeguards matter more than the price. Every order is handled by Makers Unity LLC, the Microsoft partner that runs Kymakers. You can claim a refund within 180 days if the key has not been redeemed, we replace the key if it ever stops working through no fault of yours, and our team helps with online and telephone activation if you reply to the delivery email. Microsoft no longer offers Office 2010 downloads, so our illustrated guide provides the installer; repeat these steps on each of the five PCs, entering the same product key every time.
For PCs that cannot go online, choose telephone activation in the Office activation wizard; our Get Confirmation ID tool helps if you need the Confirmation ID. If setup is blocked by a newer Office already on the PC, uninstall it first with the help of our SetupProd_OffScrub.exe guide. Seeing “this product key has already been used” or another error? Reply to your delivery email and we will help, or replace the key if it has stopped working through no fault of yours.

Key arrived fast, much quicker than I expected. The key worked on the first attempt. Really pleased. Support team was helpful when I had a quick question before buying. 10/10 would order again.
Really happy with this purchase. Activation was straightforward — entered the key and it went through first try.
Exactly what I needed and it worked perfectly. Activated without a hitch. Everything validated fine.
Customer service wasn’t the fastest but they came through in the end. The key worked on the first attempt. Really pleased. It’s fine for what it is.
The key took a little while to arrive, maybe 20 minutes, but it showed up. Followed the instructions on the site and it activated without problems. Much cheaper than going through Microsoft, and it’s completely legit.
