The product on this page is a genuine Windows 10 Enterprise product key, which activates Microsoft’s Enterprise edition of Windows 10 on one computer. Enterprise is the edition built for organizations with an IT function. It contains everything in Windows 10 Pro and adds credential isolation, application allow-listing, branch-office networking and application virtualization. The key is a one-time purchase, delivered by email, and the activation does not expire.
Most customers apply it to a PC already running Windows 10 Pro. Entering the Enterprise key in Settings switches the edition in place, keeping apps and data. For a new machine, you install Windows 10 Pro from Microsoft’s download page and then enter the Enterprise key. Both routes are described in the How to Download tab.
Windows 10 Enterprise adds security and management features aimed at companies, on top of everything Pro already includes (BitLocker, Remote Desktop host, Hyper-V, Group Policy, domain join):
If none of these appear in your requirements, Windows 10 Pro covers the same everyday work for less. Pro’s own advantages are summarized in our explainer on how Pro differs from Home.

Choose LTSC if you need security updates for years on hardware that cannot run Windows 11; choose Enterprise if you need the standard Enterprise desktop, with the Store and the usual inbox apps, for compatibility with an existing image. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 carries the Enterprise security features, receives security fixes until January 13, 2032 and leaves out feature updates, so it is well suited to point-of-sale terminals, lab machines and controllers. Standard Windows 10 Enterprise has reached its end of support and only receives fixes through Microsoft’s paid commercial ESU program. To be candid, for a general office PC that is online every day, LTSC or a move to Windows 11 Enterprise is the safer plan.
No, not for free: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 reached end of servicing on October 14, 2025, the same day as Home and Pro. Companies can pay Microsoft for commercial Extended Security Updates for up to three years beyond that date, bought through volume licensing or a cloud solution provider; that subscription is separate and is not part of this key. The consumer ESU program, which ends on October 13, 2026, applies to Home and Pro rather than to Enterprise. Both timelines are set out in our Windows 10 end-of-support guide and the Windows 10 ESU options explainer. The activated license itself keeps working regardless.
Microsoft supports moving from Windows 10 Pro to Enterprise simply by entering an Enterprise product key under Settings › Update & Security › Activation › Change product key. Windows changes the edition without reinstalling, and your apps, files and domain membership stay in place. A PC on Windows 10 Home cannot jump straight to Enterprise; install Windows 10 Pro first (or upgrade Home to Pro), then apply this key. Because Microsoft’s public download page provides standard Windows 10 media rather than a separate Enterprise image, the Pro-then-Enterprise route is also the practical way to set up a new machine.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Base system | 1 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM (64-bit) or 1 GB (32-bit), 32 GB storage, DirectX 9 graphics |
| Credential Guard | 64-bit CPU with virtualization extensions and SLAT, UEFI with Secure Boot; TPM 1.2 or 2.0 recommended |
| Hyper-V | 64-bit CPU with SLAT, virtualization enabled in firmware, 4 GB RAM or more |
| BitLocker | TPM recommended; without one, a USB startup key or password can be used |
| AppLocker | Application Identity service running; rules deployed by Group Policy |
| DirectAccess | Domain membership and a Windows Server remote access deployment |
None of these features demands TPM 2.0, which is why Windows 10 Enterprise remains an option on business desktops and laptops that Windows 11 does not support.
On hardware that meets the Windows 11 requirements, Microsoft supports an in-place upgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 11 Enterprise that keeps applications and settings. If you are licensing a PC today that already passes the TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and processor checks, buying a Windows 11 Enterprise product key directly is the better investment. Our article on Windows 11 Enterprise vs Pro explains the newer edition, and our walkthrough for upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 shows how to test a PC’s eligibility.
Each key activates one device, so an office that standardizes ten machines on Enterprise needs ten keys. A common approach is to deploy your usual Windows 10 Pro image, join the domain, and then apply a different Enterprise key to each computer, either by hand in Settings or from an elevated command prompt with slmgr /ipk followed by slmgr /ato. Keep a register that links every key to a device name and serial number so reinstalls and audits are simple. Before buying in quantity, check which of those machines could run Windows 11: any that pass are better licensed with Windows 11 Enterprise, while the rest can stay on Windows 10 Enterprise until they are retired.
Windows Enterprise is often bought as an E3 or E5 per-user subscription. This key is different: a one-time payment that licenses one device permanently, with no renewal. A reinstall or a drive swap does not affect it; a motherboard replacement, however, makes Windows treat the machine as a new device. Future Windows versions and ESU are not included. Before buying any Windows key online, check who stands behind it; is it safe to buy cheap Microsoft license keys? walks through the checks. Windows 10 Enterprise is activated by entering your Enterprise key on Windows 10 Pro, so no separate Enterprise installer is needed. Pick the path for your PC.
An error reading “This edition can’t be activated with this key” usually means the PC is still on Home; move it to Pro first, then enter the Enterprise key. If setup installs Home automatically because of a key stored in the firmware, reply to your delivery email and we will help you get to Pro. Error codes are explained in activation error 0xC004F074 and Windows key not working?. Our team will help you finish activation by email.

Got the activation code almost instantly — no waiting around. The key worked on the first attempt. Really pleased. Already recommended it to a colleague.
The key landed in my inbox within a few minutes of paying. Installation and activation took maybe 10 minutes total. The team answered my query quickly and clearly. Recommended.
No complaints at all — everything worked as described. Activated without a hitch. Everything validated fine.
The key landed in my inbox within a few minutes of paying. It’s been reliable since day one.
Mixed feelings, but overall alright. The activation steps weren’t totally clear but I figured it out. The software runs perfectly, no issues to report. Probably use them again but with lower expectations on timing.
