What you need before you start

A PC currently running Windows 10 Home.
Your 25-character Windows 10 Pro upgrade key from Kymakers.
An internet connection and administrator access.

This is an edition upgrade, not a clean install — your files, programs and settings all stay exactly where they are.

Step 1 — Upgrade to Pro with your key

Open Settings (press Windows + I).
Go to Update & Security → Activation.
Next to Upgrade your edition of Windows, click Change product key.
Enter your 25-character Windows 10 Pro upgrade key and click Next.
Click Start to begin the upgrade. Windows applies the change and restarts once or twice.

Prefer the command line? Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:

changepk.exe /ProductKey YOUR-25-CHAR-KEY

Step 2 — Verify the upgrade

After the restart, open Update & Security → Activation again. It should now show Edition: Windows 10 Pro and read “Windows is activated”. You’ll also see Pro-only features like BitLocker and Remote Desktop become available.

Troubleshooting

Error 0xC004F050 (invalid key)

Double-check every character of the key and make sure your PC is on Windows 10 Home (the key only upgrades Home to Pro). Contact Kymakers 24/7 support if it persists.

The upgrade seems stuck

Give it a few minutes and let Windows restart. Ensure you’re connected to the internet so activation can complete.

It says “already activated” but still shows Home
